I found this with baby #4 in the first couple of months. I loved that it benefitted both me and the baby. Felt like it eased a lot of the discomforts of gut maturity in my little one. Less gripe water needed or other various interventions. In addition, it helped me avoid mastitis. I typically get mastitis once or twice with my previous kids, especially when they start sleeping longer stretches at night. Since taking this, I have yet to get mastitis during this postpartum journey and my little one is almost 8 months. Highly recommend this product!

I have been taking Lacta-Biotic for 5 months now. Whenever I run out and it takes a couple days to arrive, I notice the difference in comfort during lactation (with vs w/out). It has become an essential for my daily lactation supplements. So far, my baby has been growing at a steady healthy pace and her immune system is stellar! Can't recommend enough.

My baby and I had a rough start to our breastfeeding journey - a c-section, poor/shallow latch leading to prolonged nipple shield use (~6 weeks), and some oversupply all resulted in a subacute mastitis and mammary dysbiosis for me. My PCP did a culture of my milk and we found staph (a common skin bacteria, but one that should NOT be in sterile breastmilk). I was having horrible clogged ducts/inflammation and almost constant breast pain. I ended up taking a few different antibiotics until we did the culture and found which one worked for the strain of bacteria in my milk. But, dysbiosis creates a biofilm in your ducts and even with prolonged antibiotics, I was still having pain and recurrent clogged ducts. Then, I decided to try this probiotic and have experienced incredible relief and resolution! I chose this one because it is the strain that has specifically been studied and found to help with dysbiosis. A few weeks ago I decided to try switching to a cheaper, but still popular brand of probiotic for women...within a week, almost 2/3 of one breast was inflamed and clogged. I returned to this probiotic and have been feeling well since. Needless to say, I think this probiotic has really saved my breastfeeding journey with my daughter!
