Each month we donate a portion of our proceeds to a child with medical needs through the Legendairy Littles program. Meet Colt, a little boy that enjoys making his siblings laugh, swinging at the park, and anything with peanut butter. Colt was diagnosed with failure to thrive since infancy stumping doctors who were unable to identify the root cause. At 8 months old, he was admitted to the hospital for RSV and it was then that doctors determined he had heart failure which required an immediate procedure. As a result, Colt spent 10 days in the PICU. Today, Colt takes medication to help with fluid retention, works hard during this feeding and physical therapies, and visits with doctors at least twice a month. Although Colt will need medical procedures in the future, they have not been scheduled. Due to Colt’s compromised immune system, he and his family spend most of their time at home which they have grown to love.
The Legendairy Littles donation will help Colt’s family with ongoing medical needs and therapies.
