Each month we donate a portion of our profits to a child with medical needs through the Legendairy Littles program. This month we will be focusing on Canaan.
Canaan will celebrate his first birthday on Thanksgiving and is a spunky little guy with a contagious laugh, handsome smile, and is a strong warrior. A week before turning six months old, Canaan was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. He had to spend 51 days in the hospital before getting to leave for a few days. Canaan kept his spunk through all of his rounds of Chemo and 14 day hospital days. Since June, Canaan has not only been fighting leukemia, but he has also had a Broviac central line placed that became infected after only a few weeks. Canaan’s MRSA then turned sepsis, and yet Canaan continued to fight through it all. Canaan is now at home long term and is happy to share with the world that he is in Remission! Although there is a chance for relapse, his family is staying positive and enjoying this time where he is able to be at home.
